When porcelain meets snowglobes

Not far from where I live, there is a little street…just under the Budapest Castle hill. It is quiet and magical. In one of the houses in that street a Girl Next Door Viki Hitka makes Soulglobes – “usual and unusual globes with a hint of snow or with a pinch of sunshine”.

Zsolnay is a factory of one of the finest porcelains in the world. Since early 50s till today they continue to create original designs along with the traditional ones they are renowned for.

The two will meet in Zsolnay Cultural Quarter in Pécs, Hungary this weekend!

Each globe has its own story this time captured by the Zsolnay porcelain dish.

(Exhibition is free of charge and closes on Feb 3.)
